About Me

I was born and raised in Taiwan and moved to the U.S. at 17 to pursue my education. Living between cultures has deeply shaped who I am, and how I show up as a therapist. It’s given me a lived understanding of what it’s like to navigate multiple identities, expectations, and values, especially in environments where you might not feel fully seen. This perspective helps me offer a space that is culturally sensitive, identity-affirming, and grounded in compassion for the complexity of your lived experience.

My clinical background includes working in a range of community mental health settings, with a strong foundation in serving the AAPI community. I’ve also provided therapy in substance use treatment programs and social service agencies, supporting clients from many walks of life.

My theoretical orientation is rooted in person-centered and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches, and I integrate a variety of other modalities such as CBT, mindfulness, and values-based work to meet each client where they are. My goal is to create a collaborative space where your experiences are honored and your growth unfolds with intention.
